Our Story so far......

Third Generation, family owned and operated, with over 50 years experience, serving the New Castle County and adjoining areas.

 The business founder Joseph W. Hawkins (see the picture to the left) started the service business from his home in the 1960’s.  With the gradual addition of family members to the staff, the business grew rapidly through the 70’s.  In 1978 we moved to our current location.   

We sell and service a wide variety of manufacturers.  Visit our Product Line page for a listing of manufacturers we carry.  We also display over 150 appliances in our showroom.

We at Hawkins & Sons offer the following:

Professional, friendly and knowledgeable sales staff will assist you with all your appliance purchases.

 Experienced, professional appliance installers will handle your order from delivery to set up and demonstration.

Factory Trained Service Technicians, can handle all your appliance service needs

We also offer in shop service for customers who want to drop off their appliance.

Part Department staff is ready to assist the do- it- yourselfers with their appliance repair. 

Warehouse staff will assist customers with appliance pick-ups.
